Tips/Services for Visitors

It's a Family Affair
Everyone will be excited to see you and your new baby. Visiting hours of 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily allow your family and friends to be with you on a convenient schedule. Fathers, siblings and grandparents are welcome anytime.

Anyone over 12 years old, as long as he or she does not have a contagious disease, may visit with the baby.

Each room has a telephone. Your family and friends can call by dialing 526-4 (and the room number). To help make sure you get an adequate amount of rest during your hospital stay, you cannot receive telephone calls between 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., although you may make outgoing calls during these hours if you desire.

Baby Pictures
The whole world can meet and greet your new arrival through Special Delivery, Baptist Regional's on-line nursery.  With the parent's permission, the baby's photograph and a special message can be posted on the hospital's Web site at www.baptistregional.com through this free service. Make sure you complete an information form before leaving the hospital. Each baby has a guest book for relatives and friends to leave email messages and greetings. The guest book entries can be printed, creating a keepsake for the baby's scrapbook.

Professional-quality photographs will usually be taken the day after delivery by First Foto. A First Foto representative will leave an order form with you. You may order by phone or by mail. It takes two to three weeks to get your pictures. If you have questions about your photos, please call First Foto at 1-800-325-3550.
