This test is used to image the arteries in the neck, which provide blood to the brain.  The flow of blood is analyzed to diagnose blockages that could lead to a stroke.

Instructions to the Patient
Access to the neck, from collarbone to jaw line is required, so please don't wear a shirt with a high collar.

Additional Information
The procedure is virtually painless.  The exam takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.
