Baptist Regional Medical Center offers the Junior Volunteer Program for teens ages 14 through 18.  Junior volunteers contribute many hours to the hospital every summer by helping out in nursing units, Central Processing, Materials Management, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Education, Pharmacy and other areas of the hospital.  The program provides teens with the experience of working in a hospital, as well as a good reference for their first jobs or college applications.
