Visitor Information

This information is provided to help acquaint patients' family members and friends withBaptist Health Corbin's policies, facilities and visiting hours.

ATM's (Automated Teller Machine) are located on the hospital's first floor near the Admitting and Emergency Room waiting areas, on the first floor in the Trillium Center and also in the lobby of the Paul Parker Outpatient Pavilion.

Chaplain and Chapel
A chaplain is available to provide counseling, spiritual and emotional support, and assistance with living wills and advance directives to hospital patients and their families Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. During evenings and weekends, the chaplain is on call for emergencies. To request a chaplain visit, call (606) 528-1212 extension 4425 or ask a nurse to contact the chaplain for you.

Volunteer chaplains also make visits to patients during the week.

Baptist Health Corbin's Chapel is located on the first floor and is open 24 hours a day for prayer and meditation.

Crystal Garden

Crystal Garden Dining Room
Baptist Health Corbin's Crystal Garden Dining Room serves nutritious meals and snacks. Visitors are welcome to eat in the dining room with our employees. Hours are:

  • Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
  • Lunch: 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Grill: 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Supper: 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Midnight Shift Supper:12:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.

to make all services accessible to individuals with disabilities. If your family member has special needs during his or her hospital stay, please discuss them with the nurse or call the Social Services department at (606) 528-1212 extension 8560.


Send a patient an electronic greeting card (eCard) with your own personal message. Get Well, Happy Birthday, Thinking of You and cards of Congratulations are available. Cards are printed in color and personally delivered to your loved one by hospital volunteers. Click here to send an eCard to a patient.


Firearms are not allowed in the hospital, unless a law enforcement performing other official duties.


Gift Shop
The Gift Shop carries a wide variety of gift ideas! Merchandise includes flowers, Yankee candles, candle warmers, baby gifts, Fossil purses, watches, sunglasses and other unique gift ideas  We offer monthly specials and free delivery within the hospital. Ask us about our Gold Club and our Birthday Club!  Open Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.  To order an item, please call  606-523-8558 or email

Gift Shop

Mail is delivered to patients Monday through Friday by members of Baptist Health Corbin's Volunteer Services department. Mail received for a patient after discharge will be forwarded to the patient's home. Please address mail as follows:

Overnight Accommodations
Several hotels and motels are located within a short distance of Baptist Health Corbin. Some of them offer discounts for families of hospital patients. Information and directions may be obtained by calling the Social Services department at (606) 528-1212 extension 8560.


Send Thanks Card
If you or a loved one experienced care that was above and beyond what you expected, you can send a card of thanks to the employee, physician or volunteer who provided excellent service.  


Baptist Health Corbin recognizes the health risks associated with smoking and has a responsibility to its patients, visitors, and medical staff.  Therefore, smoking is not allowed anywhere on the hospital campus including hospital grounds.  

Family members and friends may call a patient's room by dialing 528-1212 and asking for the patient's name or room number. Calls to patient rooms are not accepted between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. to make sure our patients get adequate rest. Patients may make outgoing calls at any hour.

Telephone numbers for hospital departments, services and nursing units are listed in our phone directory.

Visiting Hours

 Patients have the right to receive visitors of their choice unless such visits harm their medical condition, negatively affect their recovery or are not consistent with hospital policy.  The patient may withdrawn their consent for visitors at any time. To help us provide rest and privacy for our patients, we ask that visitors observe the following visiting hours:

  • General Visitation
    7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.  
  • Women's Health Care Center (OB)
    7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. No children under 12 permitted except siblings of newborns.
    Immediate family only
    8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
    11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
    2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
    5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
    8:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
    One (1) person may stay in the room at all times.  Visitation two (2) people may visit at at time.  The above rules may be changed according to the patient condition and at the nurses' discretion.
  • Trillium Center
    No children under 12 permitted

  • Labor and Delivery
    Please note posted times outside these areas.
  • Rehab
    3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
    1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday
    7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday
  • Worship Services.
    Weekly worship services are provided on various hospital units as follows: at 2:00 p.m.

Patients and family members are invited to attend. Quarterly memorial services are also provided for patients who have lost a family member.


Wireless Internet Access
The Baptist Health Corbin Wi-Fi (wirelesss fidelity) Network allows use of wireless Internet services throughout the hospital.
