Express Check In for Registraton

Baptist Regional Medical Center now offers express check-in to reduce the wait time upon initial registration. Originally, the patient would sign-in and wait for the next available patient access representative at the booth to be registered. Now patients can be registered in approximately 30 minutes.

Previously, the space was an open desk area, now the area has been enclosed with glass to protect patient privacy. In addition, a desk was added specifically for a volunteer to be stationed to assist with visitors needing information.

When a patient pre-registers, it allows wait time to be reduced. It only requires a simple telephone call before coming to the hospital then upon arrival check-in at the express window. If it is the patient’s first time being registered at the facility, the full process must be conducted in person, please allow additional time.

“Baptist Regional Medical Center is continuously striving to make positive improvements to benefit our patients, by decreasing wait time we are making our services more efficient for the customer,” said Andy Dunn, Patient Access Coordinator.
