Corbin was Painted Pink in October
Corbin was PAINTED PINK in October
Baptist Health Corbin hosted the second annualPaint the Town Pink with co-sponsors, Mix 96 and Times Tribune this year during the month of October for Breast Cancer Awareness. Fundraising activities were held all month with the kick off being the GLOW RUN which was a great success! This was the second year with participation up from 183 finishers last year to 220 this year! Congratulations to all! Several BHC employees took home medals of honor as they finished 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their class.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered to work or run in the race! Paint the Town Pink was a huge success and a great reminder to honor those who suffer from breast cancer or those we have lost to breast cancer. Remember the number one way of detecting breast cancer at its earliest stage is self examination and an annual mammogram. Visit our dedicated Breast Care center and schedule your mammogram today if you haven’t already.
Baptist Health, Mix 96 and Times Tribune raised $6,800 this year. A check for $3,400 was presented to Tri County Cancer Coalition and Knox County Cancer Care. Both of these organizations have been very instrumental in taking care of our patients with special needs.
Again THANK YOU, it was a great GLOW RUN with PINK EVERYWHERE!!!!!!
