Baptist Regional Medical Center Becomes ISO Certified

Baptist Regional Medical Center announced it has been awarded certification in ISO 9001, the internationally recognized quality management system.

The audit was conducted by QMI - SAI Global, a leading international registrar, making BRMC the only hospital in the state of Kentucky, and one of less than two dozen, in the United States with this highly esteemed certification.  The certification represents a landmark in the hospital's quality road map and reflects a long-standing commitment to the rigorous requirements necessary to remain certified.

"This is a significant milestone in our continuing quest for quality and marks the end of a long, strenuous process.  However, at the same time, it's just the beginning; we will continue to strive towards service excellence," said Mr. John Henson, President/CEO. "As this registration attests, we remain grounded as a hospital and committed to continually improving our internal processes to deliver the best possible healthcare quality to our patients."

BRMC is considered one of the most progressive medical facilities in the country, and plans to become a nationwide training facility for other hospitals striving to achieve certification.  The commitment to community, patients and their families remain our focus.
