Baptist Golf Classic 2011
Baptist Regional Medical Center will host the 16th annual Baptist Golf Classic on Monday, October 3, 2011. This annual event held at Wasioto Winds in Pineville, KY raises money for projects that will benefit the patients and their families.
Last year, approximately $20,000 was raised for improving signage on campus and update the Inpatient Surgery lobby, according to Debbie Hardin, tournament coordinator. This year they hope to continue with that project by improving signage inside the facility.
As part of the tournament, this year’s golfers will receive a golf jacket and other items along with breakfast and lunch. There were also several prizes awarded, according to Hardin.
Team winners will receive an engraved trophy and gift certificate from the Pro Shop. Tournament play consists of teams of four players using a best ball scramble format.
