BRMC Participates with Medicaid Companies

Baptist Regional Medical Center is participating with all three of the new managed Medicaid companies.  The Kentucky Medicaid program initiated a new approach on November 1, 2011 assigning most members to one of three different companies for the management of their benefits -- Kentucky Spirit, CoventryCares and WellCare. Because of the size of the project and the vast numbers of providers, current provider directories are incomplete. However, even if it not listed, Baptist Regional Medical Center is participating with all three companies.

Baptist Regional Medical Center encourages Medicaid users to contact their assigned company for physician participants because many participating physicians are also awaiting inclusion in online and printed directories.
